Community rules

Study Lock Social exists to help people learn. By creating an account, you agree to follow these rules.

Be respectful

No harassment, hate, threats, stalking, sexual harassment, intimidation, or repeated unwanted contact. If a user blocks you or declines a request, respect that decision.

Protect private information

Do not post addresses, phone numbers, passwords, private emails, financial information, or another person's information without permission. Use a public username; do not put sensitive details in your bio or messages.

Keep it honest

Do not automate or falsify study events, exploit leaderboards, impersonate others, spam friend requests, or use challenges to harass people. Leaderboard data is based on reported playback signals and can be imperfect.

Use reporting and blocking

Block users who contact you unwantedly and report spam, harassment, impersonation, or inappropriate content. Moderators may review reports, remove challenges, or suspend accounts.

Limits

Messaging is limited to friends, subject to privacy settings and rate limits. Do not use this community for emergencies or to share confidential educational or workplace data.

The project owner should appoint moderators, establish a contact process, and review these rules for the jurisdictions and audience before public launch.
